The Principality of Zeon is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zeon Lieutenant Commander Char Aznable leads a raid on the space colony of Side 7. There, he discovers that the Earth Federation’s new weapon, the RX-78-2 Gundam, has been left behind. So he decides to steal it for himself, setting off a domino effect that changes history as we know it forever. Five years later, in the independent colony of Side 6, a young Newtype becomes involved in the search for the missing RX-78-2 Gundam. It isn’t long before she slips into the pilot’s seat of the new Gundam GQuuuuuuX prototype and competes in underground mobile suit combat competitions. Surrounded by new friends, she tries to understand her strange powers, find her place in the world, and dreams of a heaven where she can fly freely.
